MOM's HR DERBY will be at hurricane bridge. We plan to get rolling around 130ish but it does depend on the games that occupy that field. Moms you just show up and we let you smash it and have fun!!!! We assume it will go for a couple hours so if you are elsewhere just drive over when you are done and we will get you in. No attire requirements. Mom in Pensacola won in Birkenstocks. 😂

Well well ,somehow we have almost made it to the end of day 1 and not too delayed but certainly wet !!! Great job everyone dealing with the weather today. Brackets will be posted as we finish age groups. We have put in a request for better weather tomorrow and hopefully that gets granted. We got a lot of interest in the MOM. HR DERBY so we are going to start a little early so we can get everyone in. It's gonna be a party so feel free to bring your speakers and fun cause we have to outdo Pensacola!!!! All ties will require a swing, run or throw off which we will coordinate with those players based on your schedule tomorrow. For outright winners and runner ups please come see us (the players) between or before/ after your games and we will get you set up !

skills competition is over and as we finish up we wanted to make sure everyone knew that arrival time at the dirty birds is 5pm. Please don't be early you will just be waiting around. Players and coaches ONLY you will walk around to center field on the exterior of the stadium. We will be there to meet you and have security escort you in. We need all players and coaches who are parading inside by 545pm.

good morning !!! As a reminder today's skills competition and coaches check in is 10am-3pm at hurricane bridge park. Also we will arrive tonight at 5pm for opening ceremonies. After speaking with the dirty birds staff they think 5 is perfect and they will open the gates at 5 for the parents early so you don't have to wait to get in. The parade will start at about 605-610pm. More details to come but wanted everyone to have the game plan.

They do not have to pick a time to compete, and just show and go. Skills Comp start time does show 9am-2pm on some info, but it is OFFICIALLY 10am-3pm on Thursday , which is also same time as coaches check in. Registration is still open Pre purchased weekend passes MUST be picked up on Thursday and there is no exceptions. PLEASE make sure anyone who has one either shows up, or authorizes someone to pick them up for them. We also will be selling weekend passes on Thursday during skills competition. Tournament DRI FITS that were preordered will be available for pickup on Thursday at skills comp , as well as the rest of the weekend at Hurricane Bridge Park.

Hello and Happy Sunday to everyone!! We received a few emails looking for the links to Dri fits, Skills comp, weekly passes, and Dirty Bird tickets. Turns out these folks were only looking at the tournament listed on the app. The app is great for real time info, BUT If you are ONLY viewing the tournament in the app, you are missing all the LINKS as they do not populate on the app itself. For that info or links you need to go to the tournament site. Here it is, keep it handy. Also if it isnt populating a link , CUT AND PASTE IT https://wvbaseball.usssa.com/event/west-virginia-world-series/ Dri fit sales will be closing soon, so if you wanted one, please make sure to order them online. Pickup is anytime during the event at the merch tent. We do NOT stock them, and at most will have a couple extra in only a couple sizes, and those are literally gone before skills competition is over. Also skills competition can only be registered via the website. We typically will sell out in most age groups, as we are playing for new bats or gloves and BLING CHAINS. Avoid the lines, and get you DISCOUNTED weekly gate passes. Smooth and easy entry every day. They are only available online, or at skills competition. ALL bands must be picked up at the skills competition. Lastly the link for the Dirty Birds was down for some reason earlier this week, but it has been fixed, and is now available for opening ceremonies tickets. Marucci will be on site all days including skills competition offering sick trade ins, and deals for all participants in the event. Please feel free to stop by their hit lab and check it out. Schedules will be released at the coaches meeting. We know everyone is excited and wants to see who and when they play. Our policy has always been to release at the coaches meeting so we can go over important items with all of the team managers/owners. Please make sure the manager/owner is in attendance, we will send the link to you directly. this will be a REMOTE meeting We will tell you from a scheduling standpoint, we ALWAYS start games at 8am, and try to get EVERYONE in and out of the park as early as possible so you can enjoy the area. Day 1 of pool play is always the longest, but weather could change that and we will make adjustments to allow ALL games to be played. We do not take schedule requests, and all matchups are based on points, with an occasional correction based on geography, as we know you dont want to travel across the country to play a team up the road. We award World Series Rings to champions, 2nd and 3rd place for ALL brackets. This ALSO will be a 3 MVP coin event, which means each team will have 3 players recognized and will receive the coveted USSSA MVP coin. These players will be featured on our socials, and the award added to the permanent USSSA player profile online that will follow them their entire baseball career. good afternoon We have had a few questions about gate passes, VS buying them daily. Yes ALL teams will play Sunday (3 days) , so its a savings, BUT when you have a week band there is NO WAIT, EASY!! IF not, you will have to stop and buy bands, and it can sometime back up, which will take a while to get into the park. its not a big deal, but some folks mention they wish they knew that before. We will also share with you that there will be a LONG line to purchase these bands at skills competition. SAVE yourself the aggravation and preorder so that you can pick them up at tables based on your last name. These weeklong bands can only be purchased online, or in person at the skills competition July 9th. The bands can also only be picked up on July 9th at the skills competition. Speaking of skills comp ALL events are competing for new Bats or Gloves. we do not accept walkups for skills comp so you must sign your player up online. the link its on the tournament site below. Dri Fits that were ordered, can be picked up at the merch tent any day during the event starting at skills competition July 9th. Online orders will close June 22nd Dirt Bird tickets are still available, as they have opened up the additional area, and thats all they have left. As a REMINDER players, and coaches tickets are already included and will be distributed to them at the opening ceremonies parade of teams.
